Down in Monterey!

So it's time for the next ICSC (International Council of Shopping Centers) retail real estate convention down in Monterey, CA.

I'll be out of town for the next couple of days meeting with clients and trying to get a better read on what's going on with our economy - retail sales, which are reportedly on the rise, are an important indicator of that - and rising retail sales means more confidence for retailers to expand, which means more job creation, which means a better economy for all of us.

Based on a review of the ICSC company attendance roster signs are favorable. More to follow. So stay tuned and in the meantime enjoy this classic!
